Maldives for proceeding with the implementation of the TFG birth year based concept, ruling that those born from 2006 birth year onwards will no longer be using cigarettes.
This overcomes the flawed impression that it is safe to smoke after a certain age as provided by the minimum legal law.
This principle has been our key education message to all communities from the time we started the Tobacco Free Generation social movement from 2011 after the 2010 publication.
